Qiuru: All is Clear and and Made Known (Pt 2) - 10/29/2003

"Aiya.. My right leg cannot play the paddle.", I said.
"I'll help you..", Kunda offered softly.
"Thanks.. Whenever I nod my head, you let go and step again okie?", I said. He nodded.
Then, I played Di Yi Shi Jian, with the help of Kunda. After I was done, everybody looked shocked.
"What?", I asked.
"Qiu, you finished your piano grades already?", Jerry asked. I shook my head.
"I stopped at Grade 4 only.", I said simply. Everyone looked at me in shock.
"You sure?", Jerry asked again.
"Ya..", I said, nodding my head.
"Then, play one of our songs..", Shuwei suggested.
"Which one?", I asked.
"Erm...", Shuwei was thinking.
"Zhi You Wo.", Kunda said. I nodded.
Shuwei and Niuani looked at him and started giggling. I looked at them and smiled. And started to play the song. After I had finished, everybody just kept quiet.
"Okie lah.. I play enough already, my leg abit tired.", I said, and Kunda got up to push the wheelchair beside me and helped me onto the wheelchair. He wheeled me over to the hall, and settled me beside a couch, and he sat down beside me.
"Did you purposely ask for that song?", I whispered to him. He just smiled to himself.
"Oh well..", I said, and looked down at my cast. It looked awfully plain and too white.
"Hey guys.. Does anybody want to sign on my cast?", I shouted out loud. Everyone was already doing their own things, when I called out. They all turned around and came over.
"Sure, why not? Isn't that what everyone does when someone has a cast?", Zaizai said, and laughed.
"Cool~ Let's go look for some markers, then we can draw on it also.", Niuani said. So, he and Zaizai ran off to look for markers.
"Haha~ Qiu, you bored, nothing to is it?", Ken said. I looked at him and just smiled.
"Well, at least it'll make my cast look nicer when I get back to school tomorrow.", I said, hitting the cast.
"Hey, you damn dangerous leh.. Can stop hitting your cast or not? Very scary you know?", Jerry said, frowning.
"Okie okie.. Black face, cool it man~", I said, and looked at him. I stuck out my tongue at him and turned my attention to Kunda.
"He's such a grump today..", I whispered to him. Kunda just shrugged his shoulders.
Soon, Zaizai and Niuani were back, with tons of markers. Coloured ones too. And soon, everybody took a turn at my cast.
"Aye.. Stupid Zaizai, sign until so big. Not enough space lah!", Vanness exclaimed. Zaizai stuck his tongue out at Van. I laughed out loud. Next was Shuwei.
"Don't anyhow write nonsense ah~", I warned him.
"I'll try..", he said, grinning. He wrote a whole lot of a get well message, and his signature. After that, he doodled some stupid picture of a pig.
Jerry didn't write much, because he was in a bad mood. Niuani wrote a whole lot of nonsense, and doodled on my cast, and a get well message. Ken left a short get well message and put his big fat signature, which took up alot of space, just like Zaizai's. Next was Vanness.
He wrote:
You gave your heart to me once before,
I knew but I didn't dare take that chance then.
When I came back,
I wanted to return what you gave me,
But I cannot.
Because you have given your heart to another.
I wanted to tell you how much I loved you,
And how much I still do.
But its all too late,
Because you love is now for another.
And he signed off. I cried as I read that message.
"Wipe away your tears, and don't cry for me. I'm happy that you have found someone who loves you more than I did. Don't cry.. I hate to see you cry.", Vanness said. I nodded and stopped crying and smiled at him. Everyone was shocked at my reaction. Ken read the message and shook his head. Everybody kept asking what it was, he translated it to them. Everyone just kept silent. Kunda held on to my hand to reassure that he'll always be there for me. Next was Kunda.
He wrote(in chinese lah~):
I knew you had given your heart to someone before,
But I didn't know who.
You offered your heart to me.
At first, I didn't dare take that chance.
Looking at our backgrounds,
I thought it might not work out at all,
But I didn't care.
I never regretted taking that chance,
Because I'm loving you more and more each day.
I want to tell you how much I love you,
And how much I always will.
So, I will say it now, loud and clear,
I love you.
And he signed off. Tears just kept flowing as he wrote that message. Everyone was just shocked. After he was done, and put the marker down on the table, Kunda came over and hugged me.
