Qiuru: All is Clear and and Made Known (Pt 1) - 10/29/2003

When everything was over and I settled down, everybody had gone down for dinner, except for Kunda. He stayed on with me until dinner was brought up for the both of us. We had dinner in my room.
"The food kind of sucks..", I said softly.
"Do you want to have something else? I can call Ben to get you something else.. ", he said, as he put down his fork and started to get up.
"Its okie.. I'll finish what I have here. Don't waste food, not good to when there are people out there who are starving.", I said, and poked my food with my fork. It spaghetti, and my favourite.
"Are you sure? Its spaghetti, and your favourite.", he said, and sat down again beside me.
"Maybe its the lack of company of the other people while having dinner. The food always taste better with other people around.", I said, and picked somemore at my food.
"Do you want me to call..", he asked.
"Its okie.. You're here with me, that's more important.", I cut him off. He smiled.
"Come on, eat up.. Or you will not have the strength to heal up.", he said, and put his hand on mine, to stop me from picking at my food further. I nodded and continued eating.
After we were done, Kunda called Ben to come up to clear our stuff and brew us each a mug of tea. Soon, Ben was back up again with our tea.
"Where are the others?", I asked him.
"They're in the kitchen, Miss Autumn.", Ben said.
"Okie, thanks Ben.", and he left.
After he was gone, Kunda passed me my mug of tea.
"You wanna go down later?", Kunda asked.
"I want to go down see if my piano is here yet.", I said. Kunda nodded.
"Finish up your tea, then I'll bring you down.", he said, and smiled. I nodded and drank my tea.
"Erm... About Vanness.. I've gotten over him.", I said suddenly, breaking the silence. Kunda nearly spat out his tea.
"Haha~ I didn't say anything.", Kunda laughed out.
"I was thinking maybe you would feel uneasy or something.", I said.
"I'm okie..", he said smiling. I just bent my head and drank my tea quietly, and looked into my tea.
"I've talked to him..", he said, suddenly. Apparently, we like frighten each other. And, I looked up in surprise.
"And?", I asked.
"We talked about you. He still likes you. He's a nice guy, and he knows that you're happy. He doesn't mind that you're falling in love with me. He's happy, that you're happy. He's very generous.", Kunda said simply.
"He is a great guy. I fell in love with him once, but we never got together, because many things have happened. And, he never made any moves, unlike me. He left without saying much, except for a simple letter, which he wrote on the night before he left. He stayed up and watched me sleep, as he wrote the letter.", I said.
Kunda looked at me in surprise.
"You mean.. You two..", Kunda wanted to ask something. I looked at him and smiled and shook my head.
"We did nothing.. We just stayed up and talked till I fell asleep. That was it.", I explained.
"Oh...", he seemed more relieved.
"Hey~ I'm not that kind of girl who go around doing nonsense okie?", I joked and gently whacked him on the shoulder, nearly spilling my tea.
"Opps..", I said, and laughed. He laughed along. Soon, we finished our tea and Kunda helped me up to the wheelchair. It didn't hurt at all, but he was really gentle. And we took the lift down to the ground floor and he pushed me into the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Pris had to remind me how much it itched with that dumb cast on. And she asked what I, this patient wanted. I simply said, some company. Since the kitchen became more and more cramp, we moved to the hall to laze around somemore.
"Jerry seems a little uptight and black face about something.", I whispered Vanness who was seated beside me. He just shook his head and giggled.
"Someone's just sour about something.", he said. I gave him a 'OH~' look, and looked into the direction of Pris. Vanness nodded. Jerry shot me and Vanness a shut-up look. We looked at each other and loked back at Jerry and gave him a okie-lor-look, and giggled.
The doorbell rang, Ben picked up the intercom, and announced that the piano had arrived.
"YEAH!!!!!", I shouted, everybody got ashock.
"Got something to do already~", I added. Pris gave me a are-you-sure-look. I nodded my head.
"You can anot? Your leg..", she said.
"Can can can.. Some how or other can manage one.", I said and she shook her head.
After the piano was prepared and tuned, I totally forgot I was in a wheelchair and wanted to get up and run there. Instead, I was stopped by Kunda. He wheeled me to the piano, while Vanness helped me onto the seat.
"Thanks~", I said, and sat there for awhile. The rest of Energy came up after they heard the commotion, and settled in the hall. Shuwei and Niunai came over to stand beside the piano, while Van and Kunda stood on my right and left respectively.
I played my scales to warm up, and everybody made a
face.
"I need to warm up lah~ If not, my fingers would be stiff when I play.", I explained and continued with my scales. After 5 minutes of scales, I sat there for awhile more.
"Play something leh.. Everybody is waiting.", Niuani
said. I shot him a look.
"Okie okie, I shut up.", he said.
I put my fingers on the keyboard, and started to play Sonatina. I noticed Shuwei and Niuani were shocked. Van was smiling away. Kunda, well, being him, smiled to himself. After I was done, everybody clapped. Then, I noticed Pris going off. And then, Ady followed a little later.
"Play something else..", Shuwei said excitedly. Soon, I was crowded with all the other guys.
"Hey hey.. Give her some air.", Van said.
"Play what?", I asked.
"Eh.. What about one of our songs?", Ken suggested.
"Okie, but I on the spot play one, never prepare before hand one. So, if sound not nice, don't blame me.", I warned.
